Im getting pissed off...im hunting for new pictures, but several people are sitting on the whole brochure.. without scanning it.
As i understand they got the brochures at MB dealer nation wide in Germany today..so does any of our German friends care to pick one up?
Its already leaked..so there is no need to be scared

That pissed me off too. How can those guys be so selfish, and not share with us the joy of seeing a beautiful car released by MB ?

Maybe the design is as bad as what was communicated in that Motor Trend article? I recall from the article that even Mercedes' own people were dissapointed with what they saw. They might need some time to digest what they've seen before releasing the full horror to the general public?

As what we`ve seen till this moment, this car is far from being a horror one. Everything will be alright. We`ve prepared ourselves 2 years on this thread.

I suppose the design isn't horrible.

But remember, those people actually saw the car in person - and they were pretty dissapointed. We're making our judgements based on, comparatively speaking, poor quality photographs.

My thought is Motortrend is an incredible Merc-trashing magazine!

About Wagoner, may be he's suffering the same as Walter De Silva, when moved from "hands-on" designer to chieff and overseeing others: he lost all the passion.

Compare the Alfa 156 back them to the design of the recent Audi's and zzzzz, sorry I got sleep, what I was talking aobut?

Motor Trend is not a Mercedes trashing magazine. Why do people say that about any publication that doesn't like a Mercedes? They've praised other Mercedes models.

MT doesn't bash Mercedes more than anyone else does when Mercedes lays an egg. They didn't say anything negative other than how about it looks ~ to them. I happen to agree on my first impression. It isn't the beauty the R230 or R129 were.
