3 Series (F30) 2012 BMW 3er Touring (F31) Spyshots.

The sixth generation of the BMW 3 Series consists of the BMW F30 (sedan version), BMW F31 (wagon version, marketed as 'Touring') and BMW F34 (fastback version, marketed as 'Gran Turismo') compact executive cars. The F30/F31/F34 generation was produced from October 2011 to 2019 and is often collectively referred to as the F30. For the sixth generation, the coupé and convertible models were spun off to create the new BMW 4 Series nameplate.

Sent to me by a UK forum member.
The UK Autocar magazine have grabbed the exclusive on the new BMW 3er Touring (F31) prototypes.

Expect a similar timeframe with the launch of the 5er Touring (F11).
With the 3er Sedan debuting in November 2011 , prior to World premiere @ Geneva with a possible launch for the Touring in Leipzig the following month. Again largest market for 3er Touring like the 5er is Germany.
So they might take the initiative.

Yeah, that's definitely not the interior of the new 3er. Looks like an 1er to me as well. Sounds logical, for testing.

I would suggest this is the final interior with inspiration from the 1 Series interior. The car looks too developed for it to have a mish mash of parts from other series models. Better be prepared for a 1 Series inspired dashboard. :D

I'm confident enough to bet you're wrong. 20 euro's this is not the interior? We can pay eachother via Paypal in a year or 1.5 year :)

get a room, or a seperate thread you 2

on topic: clearly that handbrake is a finished product and the side of the dashboard is supposed to be open. The cloth is an optional extra to keep the dashboard from losing color because of the sun. Heck, even this custom paintjob will be on the optionslist ... this is THE car.

Do you think the handbrake will be like that?. All the new BMWs have the electronic one, even hte sportiest ones as the Z4. I think is interior has nothing to look at, it´s a very preliminar version.

I expect a kick ass new looking 3er this time.. in and out..
The E90 and the E46 are closely related..( i know they often do 2 cars off the same theme)
This time around i want a something very diffrent from those..or ile be dissapointed..

if you look closely, it has both handbrakes, should give some arround here a clue.

that metally surrounded switch looks a lot likz the electronic handbrakes BMW use, which would make sense, one to test, one for safety.
