LOL, I know. I called him the other day to ask how things are going, and he says the GTR has become somewhat of a "big overpriced paperweight", as he never drives it, and it just sits there. He drives his "Beater", a new Camaro SS....
Both paid off in cash too..... Damnit, lol. There isn't a better guy out there though.

^^I think they have just gotten rid of the Launch Control. No need to have it if it ain't covered in warranty.

"The DBA-R35 will be introduced with a fourth version of Launch Control, which we can all now call LC4. LC4 holds the RPM’s at 4,000rpm before unleashing its 'significantly' improved torque on the tarmac."

BTW, Motor Trend's long term GT-R endured 50+ dragstrip launches with no failures, no hiccups.

This car is so formidable and such a great value. It is still wanting however in the looks department to these eyes. It's interesting, but doesn't look like an elite sports car. More like a futuristic Mustang or Camaro.
Maybe Infiniti will give birth some day to a version with better eye appeal.

Who knows ? maybe Nissan is also using the same technique as Ferrari in beating others (NBR lap time - 7:24 & 7:26)
As for the Z06, GM now offers Michelin PS2 tires for the Z06/ZR1 which clearly shows how much faster they've become, GTR is using extreme performance tires and barely won on the track, imagine the Z06 fitted with PS Cup tires
