I'm incredibly keen on the weight reducing program the Murc has endured. In combination with the power boost probably close to 800hp, it will mark the beginning of the end for Veyron that will look stupid expensive next to a car that provide 80% of the thrust and experience as merely 20% of the cost. Sure the exclusivity of the Veyron is unrivalled but so is the depreciation. A sensible man would buy the new Merc, slap on this Veyron kit from ebay and call it a day.

Report: Preliminary Lamborghini LP700-4 specs leak out

If the FerrariChat tipster knows what's what, the new Lambo will be called LP700-4. Power will be sourced from a 6.5-liter V12 good for around 700 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, mated to a seven-speed gearbox that is supposedly able to fire off shifts in just 50 milliseconds. It will take under three seconds to reach 62 miles per hour and the estimated top speed is somewhere around 217 mph. The super-light carbon fiber body will feature an F1-style rear suspension and overall weight will be reduced by about 505 pounds compared to the current Murc.

I guess since the Veyron is getting ready to be put to sleep, this will be VW's most powerful car...well atleast until the Bugatti sedan comes out. I guess Ferrari better hurry up with the Enzo replacement before Lambo becomes the absolute ruler of the supercar kingdom!

Probably not..Maybe at Frankfurt next year..or some other show. If it's a 2012 model, it will probably come out in 2011.

First off, this car is going to be ridiculous, or at least I hope it well. Second, those numbers..what gives? 2012? I mean, does that mean when it will actually be released and produced?

First of all the car in the pictures is a concept (like pablodav mentioned above) by a Russian student Viktor Filipchenko and it's called "Cnossus". So this has nothing to do with the "Jota". The "teasers" above are therefore obviously fake.
