Frankly, a wayy better race that Singapore. Thing is, FIA has just failed. They banned testing, designed new cars with outrageous wings to help overtaking. Then they allow that stupid double diffusers, which make things come back to square one.
Then, they introduce KERS. It's a whole lot of waste of time and money. We saw how many non KERS cars have soo much of trouble overtaking KERS mounted cars. For me, the FIA should just make it a standard thing. Either everyone races with KERS, or no one uses KERS. Not 4 cars with KERS, and the rest can't overtake.
We all saw the basic cars, Brawns and RedBulls..no KERS, no adjustable wings, and they dominated almost 90% of this year's races. That just shows the FIA has failed in it's bid to make races more interesting, and cost cutting issues.
Another boring race in a season full of boring races. If Suzuka can't deliver I don't know what can.
And it will probably get worse next year.
F*** FIA, FOM, FOTA the overtaking comitee and so on.
After a thrilling qualifying the race failed to follow up with excitement. It was pretty much a parade from the first lap to the last. Vettel ruled Suzuka and I believe he'll reign at Interlagos which is a highly similar circuit. Not only that, but Red Bull had an amazing pace there last year, so I couldn't be surprised to see Red Bull locking out the front row.
For Button to seal up the championship, he'll need to finish third in Brazil -- but given the weak performance we've seen from Brawn lately, his chances of qualifying on the first or second row are slim.
Heikki and Sutil's shunt was embarrassing, mostly for Heikki. He should have let Sutil slide by. Sutil was clearly faster and Heikki was hopelessly slower than his team mate who was close to finishing second.
