2009 328i X-Drive

Wife has took had her car to the alignment shop and they told her that she need lower control arm bushings but they could not replace just the bushing, she would have to buy the complete control arm. I would like to know if this is true. They are saying that you cannot push out the bushing because the control arms are aluminum thus you need to buy the complete arm.

Could someone who works on these car verify this for me please? Thanx.

Also they are saying that the rear canters are off and they cannot be adjusted, is this also true?

Yeap, this is true (about the front lower wishbones). If the cost of the replacement part is too expensive, I suggest buying one from e-bay. There are two manufacturers for BMW wishbones, Meyle and Lemförder. The latter are the OEM parts, but also slightly more expensive.

What about this? Is this also true and what would cause this to happen and how could I fix this?
