F1 2008 Bahrain GP

Formula 1 news, races, teams, drivers, technology, strategy, and discussion.
altho i hate to say this, it's just practise, but the Scuderia seems to have a massive upperhand here. this track is very similiar to Sepang, plus, i guess the extra testing they spent here over winter could be a crucial factor.

Massa just needs to keep his head down, and he's cool, and he'll win this weekend.

What am embarrassing collision between Alonso and Sutil.Hammy:( I hope his neck is alright so that he won't be out of focus tomorrow. His car is a complete wreck though.

Can anyone remind me of the rule changes re: spare cars? I think that the new rule was teams can only have two cars / race, so that would mean McLaren have to rebuild Hamilton's car. Is this right?

most important is that hamilton is ok. these guys can work full time to get the car done as soon as possible.

i read some spanish comments about hamiltons crash on youtube( F&%ing haters ) losers!!!! they like to bash on hamilton more than supporting Alonso. get a life!!!

Correct and it shouldn't be problem either. F1 cars are pretty much like lego so the team should easily be able to replacement damaged parts with new ones. Hamilton even participated at practice this morning but he took it very easy though. I hope he'll be driving at full pace during quali.

Williams on top on practice 3 ?!

Nothing odd about that. During the pre-season Williams were pretty much the third/fourth fastest team. It's a shame the speed isn't mirrored at qualification.
