I don't know, but judging by the latest spy pictures I would say we are not too far off. It looks like this is the last camo phase just like the S-class was before it debuted.

I'm with Alex on this one so far. It doesn't excite me at all. Sure I can't see everything just yet, but you can see where it's going. I wasn't a big fan of the C215 untill it got the facelift, so this might be the case here again or it will eventually grow on me.

But in the meantime, the C216 can't touch this (may I use your car Alex?):

Hehehehe... I feel the same, im not into the direction MB has went into too, so personally im not fond of this new design at all. Its not a Mercedes-Benz. Something is lost in this new version. Lack of subtle style or, i dont know, just something. Perhaps to some of you guys its hot,a nd i see most are blown away, but to a Mercedes owner and enthusiast, i have to say this is not the direction it should have went into. I dont get that "Ahhhhh" when i see the pictures, and in fact there's too many things i dont like.

From kids to adults, there is a certain response i have seen and gotten when i pull up to place's, that just certainly makes you feel that you are in the ultimate class of luxury, style, sophistication, and most importantly class.

I dont see it in this new contraption...

But no matter, it is what it is.

Well, I`m looking forward to the next CL, I believe the design will be awesome
when the camo comes off. Just take a look at this profile. I love the way it flows down. The sport package is going to do wonders for this design
and look out for the AMG models when thay get the front spoiler from the S65 AMG! The next CL is a smooth evolution of the currant model.

I like how the hood sits higher while the back flows down on the newer model.

I have heard both Paris in September and Geneva in March. Just from the fact that there isn't much cladding on this car anymore, I say it's released at Geneva in March.

true but just notice the difference in length between the 2 CL's in front although these are identical cars, there are no SWB and LWB CL's

So who else likes the new CL`s changes in profile compared to the currant one. I think the higher hood look classier. I can`t wait for the camo to come off.
