We have seen these pipes before, why wouldnt they look like that? It is a likely possibility that they will...

Yeah Alx , the pipes will look exactly like that , but not sticking out that far , that was my point ...

they look funny because they're still on a running prototype, not a productoin car.:usa7uh:

I've been thinking, perhaps the delay with the CL has nothing to do with the car not being ready, but rather due to supply issues. The car undoubtedly shares a lot of things with the new S, and there are many supply issues with this model already. Delaying the CL will give them time to sort things out. :t-hands:

What supply issues in the S-class are you talking about ?

Many options being in very short supply causing the delay of some ordered vehicles by many months.

If the CL and C both debut at paris though, it will be a brilliant show for all MB fans. MB will no doubt be the centre of attention. :t-cheers:

When is paris's autoshow ?

I'm starting to think that Mr. Mercedes is right, and also they're making sure the car is perfect just like they did with the S-Class. There has to be some reason for the delay because the CL always debuts 6 months after the S-Class and the S has been on sale since Sept 2005 so by the time the CL is shown it will be a year!! It had better be stunning!

Another bold statement from yours truly: The C216 will vanquish the CGT in looks. Know this.

CL's got arches!

You know what?.............I think it needed them, up until now I have thought all the previous spy pics looked like the new CL was very bland - the rear is definitely a cross between the CLS and the SLK - those wheel arches actually improve the appearance of this car.

the wheel arches will be a part of all new MB cars i guess.. and i like em alot on the cars that have em now..
so i say bring it on
:D
