*2007 CL Class Pics and Info Thread 3 Cont'd*

I sure hope so, the car looks so plane and boring with those lights, doesn't look like an MB, could be any car!

It did seem to be very similar to the S class's from what we could see -- I always thought it would be more like the CLS's interior - a combination of the two.

It definitely needs those rear flared wheel-arches or else it will look very un-athletic indeed.

Yep that character line cuts right through or on top of the reverse lights it seems.

I sure hope we don't have to wait too much longer for this car to be officially shown, this is getting to be just the S-Class was last year - a never ending parade of spy pics!

LOL...well then the CL will have to be stunning...cause the 3-er coupe is excellent.

Oh..and Hans Lehman should just give up with his chops. They're ALWAYS, without fail, completely ghastly very bad reflections of the final vehicle. Leave it to Huckfeldt!

the interior is gonna be different, but the instruments panel is gonna be the same,

but look at this, compare it with the S-class,

Not in my opinion. BMW ruined one of their last great designs. The new Coupe looks too fat and unproportioned, at least in pics. Of course all IMO.

is it me or are their hints of the ford Taurus in the rear?

If it does it is because Ford took that V-shape design from the original W124 E-Class of the eighties, the first car I remember with such a design. Of course in real life the CL will look nothing like a Ford.

:usa7uh:

But seriously, how unproportioned? And fat? If FAT is the correct word, i can definitely say that rather for the CL (spy pics) and definitely NOT for the 3er coupe...

:t-cheers:

i think the new 3er kinda fat..i like fat cars like the M5:D--
and almost all MB´s are fat.. so bring it on i say:D

Who knew ten years ago that the Ford Taurus was such a great design! The current XK stole its grill and if I remember correctly when the latest E class was released people said it looked like a Taurus and now the CL!

I can't beleive people don't see Ford as such a great design house and give the credit where it is due! :D
