I'm not bagging you either ALI, and I know you didn't say that comment in a conceited way at all but as BB said, if you are talking about price/quality, then the Japanese cars are far better value-for-money than Mercedes.

I must add that I also know ALI wasnt being conceited...but that's exactly my point. He's speaking in all honesty that $88K is 'value'. I guess we all have opinions based on the context and environment we live in. For the wealthy, I guess $88K isn't much... but yeh, as I said, MB and value don't go together.

I think they're cheap for what they are these days .....

Where the heck are those American reality shows where rich people and poor people switch lives for a week? Either sing-up for it, or watch it. Damn.

GTA7.5, I'm assuming you are referring to my previous post as "Spam" ....is that what you consider any post that is critical of Mercedes quality? ....if so, then I might suggest you are suffering from chronic fanboy short-sightedness.

Not at all.

`s are off topic comments that sort of "flame" other members to respond. It`s a fanboy game that spins a good thread out of control.

So are you saying I was "off topic" .......because I don't agree with that -- my comments pertained to previous posts and were relevant to the discussion in this thread.

ed the CLS disussions.
What does the CLS interior have to do with the 2007 CL pix.:t-hands:

GTA7.5 .....I'm not going to argue with you .....but please note, it wasn't me who raised the issue about the CLS's interior.

Ain't my fault MB doesn't know when to release P.R. pics after a flood of camo'd cars pics from various sources. Just passing along latest info/pics.:D

oh no dont get me wrong.. i appriciate the pics..no doubt.. but im just bitchin about MB:D..
all german carbrands are like this.. tons of spy pics..and late releases:D

Ok dudes, I`m almost certain this is the CL65! It doesn`t take much imagination to see that the front air-dam is exactly like that of the S65`s.
The Wheels are also the same as well as the exhaust tips. When the camo comes off this things` going to be hotter than hell!

The front of the car looks great. I love the proportions and how it keeps the same one as the old CL. I'm eagerly waiting to see the rear of the car.

Seeing this car go round the Nurburgring is somewhat commical considering that this is probably the last place any Benz CL owner in Deutschland would ever think to take their car. That would be nice if you could do crazy donuts and all... but I'm not so sure it would be that much fun in a car this big.:t-crazy2: :laugh2: Not that you would be doing donuts on the Nurburgring.. you'd be in some serious trouble then.

Not that crazy actually... I'm sure Benz are working hard to improve their handling so that it's more in line with the competitors. BMW test all their models in the Nurburgring (the only car company that does that). Imagine being passed by 2 ton X5s with camos on them. Now that is a sight you don't see everyday.

True enough Warot. It makes sense that they'd want to get the most out of the mechnicals that they've employed to do duty in the new model, just don't see a track day car here.:D - Though the X5 could most certaintly be used as one.:D :D :D

OMG , yo call up the handy man , we got HHHHAAAAAATTTTTEEEERRRRSSSSS.......

I assume you kids should respect other members' opinions ......

That's unnecessary ALI, we do respect your opinion ...we were only pointing out that to most people, Mercedes-Benz is an expensive car brand.

Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. Established in 1926, Mercedes-Benz Group produces consumer luxury vehicles and light commercial vehicles badged as Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, and Mercedes-Maybach. Its origin lies in Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft's 1901 Mercedes and Carl Benz's 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen, which is widely regarded as the first internal combustion engine in a self-propelled automobile.
