BMW announced today BMW brand highlights in Paris:

facelifted X3
3er coupe
M6 cabrio
325d, 335d, 335i sedan & touring


So we can expect all the cherries (E93 cabrio, M5 touring, 1er 3dr announcements) to come after the Paris auto Show.

They are doing it again ...

Yep, they are very (almost too much) rational & conservative when it comes to auto shows.

Very not correct to BMW fans & auto show visitors.

But good for the BMW marketing (they distribute announcements, introduction & launches through larger period, and so they have the attention of the press all the time). If they came with all the new cars in Paris, those BMW cars would only get little attention among other cars in the show.

Their conservative formula works fine, so why change it?

Btw, I'm also pissed. And so are many of BMW employees who also thought there would be more premiers there ... Sometimes BMW internal memos are a bit to much usless propaganda than real info. Sometimes memo says like "it will be presented in few weeks, and will be premiered at upcoming larg auto show" so everybody think the car will be announced within two weeks & shown at closest auto show.

I want to see some design studies IRL! Design studies of X6, V5, Z8 etc.

BMW haven't come with design study (ala Z9, x-Coupe, CS1) in a long time (Mille Miglia Coupe 2006 does not count!!!).
