2004 Corsa C - My First Car!

Okay, i was wondering if someone could help.

This morning i went to the grocer store to get some things and a bottle of milk spilled out onto my rear seat. Now i got home and mopped it up with water, and its dried out. The seat is not as soft in that spot but its okay and visually its not noticable. My Dad says its going to smell real bad, but it was only a little patch.

Now if it is going to smell, i know stale milk smells bad and i was looking for a "cure". Internet forums suggest:

- Leaving a glass of vinegar in the car overnight
- Putting Baking Soda on the spot, leave overnight and then vacuuming off the next day

Assitance? I dont want to replace seat cover on the rear seat! It wasn't dramatically bad and seriously, it doesnt smell bad unless you put your face into the affected area.

Sxi ride you got there! ;-) Im sure you will have a blast with it, your first own car tend to be special whatever it is.

That's a pretty neat first car you got there :) But I have more interest in that ST220 in the second pic :D

Yeah the 4 doors make it easier to get drunk people in and out (case of my brother where one girl said she needed to throw up, apparently there was some strong wind and all her vomit made it against the side of the Sunfire :eusa_doh:).

Keep having fun with it! And sorry I can't help with the seat issues.

Thanks for your comments guys, really appreciated. :t-cheers:

On the seat issue, well it seems all good actually. I noticed that a little bit seeped onto the floor mat, which ive washed 2-3 times, scrubbed and now used soemthing strange called "Shake n Vac" which smells ridiculously nice! Im going to do it with the other 3 velour mats!!

About the 3dr vs 5dr... For young people the 5dr is a way better option. Kids tend to drive their friends around quite a lot. Some kids don't have license yet so they need a lift too. 3dr car in that price group is not a single bit more sportier, on the contrast it just looks more cheap...

Yeah, with the 5dr option i felt like i was getting More car for my money - which at this level is perfect. I dont regret having a 5dr over a 3dr at all; mainly when i was transporting my golf clubs and i had to put rear seats down, it was just so much easier with the 5dr to make sure i wasn't scratching anything and keep it all under control. Transporting people/stuff has been made brilliantly easier in every way.

Thanks for your comments :t-cheers:
