R8 11 year old kid enjoying R8

The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car, which uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. It was introduced by the German car manufacturer Audi AG in 2006. Production ended in the first quarter of 2024. Production: June 2006 – March 2024 (45,949 Units), Model years: 2007–2024
Lucky him. He did get grass & dirt in side panels of the car & open window must have let the interior get dusty too. Time to wash it now kid. :D

Kid seems expressionless. I would be beaming from ear to ear.

Just goes to show, Audi never seems to bring that much excitement and involvement to the driver... this was, on the other hand, a brilliant display of the primary use of the Quattro system.

I was expecting the kid to swipe the cameraman/dad with the R8.

Lucky kid. If only it were a manual.

I learned how to drive at 11 in an '84 Land Cruiser (4 speed manual).

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
