Coupe ... Hands down.

Then 3dr, and in the end 5dr.

To me hatch has too much "gf's / wife's car" image.

2 door..cause it looks the best..and is the most useable..

5 door.. is no need..and looks worse than the 2 door..cause the rear seat of the 1er is nothing to brag about..so they can more or less drop the doors..

Coupe.. well i wont say why.. even though i was asked..
but i dont want to get torched like last time..

My choise would still be the 5 door model.

The coupe version is nicely done, a very good looking car, but it is still small. I know that an 135i would be a great car to drive, but as far as i am concerned, with these dimensions the hatch looks much more better. In the 3dr vs 5dr, both versions have the same space, but i would pick the 5dr since it looks better in my eyes.

The 5 door seem to be the best value for me. The 3 door is hotter but I prefer having 5 door hatches and if I am to buy a 3 door car it should be a coupe. The coupe looks great but comes at a price which allow me to choose much sportier cars like a Mazda MX-5 or a BMW Z4.

Further more the 5 door looks good.

5dr for myself. Not only because I prefer it's exterior styling over the other two, but because It adds what I believe to be an advantage in terms of practicality.

I am voting for the 3dr.

I need to clear up, however, that my vote is not biased by the fact that I have ordered the 3dr. Considering that fact that I am comparing the non-Mpack 1er Coupe with the non M-Pack 1er 3dr...I like the 3dr better. I like hatches in general...and if I was going to spend that much money for the 1er Coupe...I'd much rather buy the 3er Coupe which is just gorgeous.

So my vote goes for the 3dr 1er!

I don't like the 1 series coupe mainly because of the size and proportions (too small for a coupe?).

I will vote the 5 door.

Length

1er coupe: 4,360mm

Audi TT: 4,178mm (= -182mm)
Audi Coupe B3 type 89: 4,401mm (= +41mm)

BMW E30 3er coupe: 4,450mm (= +90mm)
BMW E21 3er: 4,220mm (= -140mm)

;):D

its around the size a e30, but that car was small so.. but i would go for the coupe or 3 door. They should had maked the one series just a bit bigger, like an e36 than it was more usefull.

Coupe based solely on personal preference. With the same motor and suspension setup, the difference in feel will likely be transparent to the average driver, which I am. Probably below average actually.

Sorry but....

:t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot:

Mazda MX 5 being sportier than a BMW 135i M sport???
Lighter perhaps.....but that is it! The brakes of the 135i alone probably are bigger that the entire rim of the MX-5, Miata

Uhm, I vote the coupe, since it has become my favorite non M BMW of all time already.
