Did they factor in the price in the points?
That panamera is nearly half a ton heavier than the caddy and smoked it on the lap and the drag. This car is a whole size above the rest. Amazing

Cool for the M5 to claw back one it’s neck on neck.. seems the individual cars and days and drivers is what’s splits the E63S and the M5. Certainly no domination as some were wishing :D

Yes!
The criteria are Laptime, Slalom, 0-100, 100-0 warm, power to weight ratio and price per point.
Leaving the price aside, the ranking is:
1st: M5 (77 points)
2nd: CTS-V (67 points)
3rd: E63 S (66 points)
3rd: Panamera (66 points)
 
Weird that AMS and Sport Auto (sister publications) would use different M5 and E63 S test cars and come up with totally different results. Also strange that this SA test doesn't show the 0-300knh time for each car while they released a 0-300kmh video without a result.

You dont know what the f you are talking about, Find me another car in this size and weight that is this capable. They are going hybrid cause it’s the future, your precious M cars will be hybrids soon to. Some are just before the curve, but bmw will get there as they did with the awd.
They know what they did with this turbo S they know why they did it, but ile give you this , the normal turbo is to little of a sensation, they should have given it around 600-650 hp and had one drivers V8 panamera and one top dog in the S.
But hey it’s not over yet.

Oh and you talk price? You must be slow or something the e class and 5er are f#cking run of the mill family cars and taxis.. this is a Porsche, made from the ground up to be a Porsche from the platform to the engine to the transmission. And it’s a whole class above . And then the brand value of the Porsche, they don’t make a classes and 1 series.. so of the f#cking course all this carries a premium..

So as long as they compare it to Lower class cArs and deducts points for it being expensive they are as slow as you are. And you should really apply for a job at these publications :)

Oh and yes It’s slow, it’s faster than the M5 to 300, it’s one second slower on a whole f#cking lap, and fractions slower to 100 and 200,, but it’s slow...

Just the versatility alone of these hybrid Porsche’s are amazing, you go 50km without burning fuel, future holds that the city’s will be fossil free, and then the performance boost.
Penalty 350kg of weight, which about f#cking zeeero percent of the customers care about cause they don’t track their sedans, but 99% of forum jockeys cAre about cause they got it twisted and thinks that these cars are LM racers.

Can you imagine what the Competition package on pilot sports 4 will do!?

Even Porsche can’t perform miracles, I did say that there’s simply no way it would beat the M5 on track with that weight....it’s just not competitive in this segment. Complete domination by the M5 on this test.

.....and how the hell is the M5 only 5kg heavier than the CTS-V with AWD ....
