BMW "Never stand still" event

lol I was waiting for Artist to show us some of his boxing skills ... seriously !

EDIT: I guess this is the first time I don't mind using the f word in this forum:D

BMW creative marketing have hit a new low and I demand that the admin or some other moderator deletes this thread.

Give it a few more hours of living. Please!!!!!!

I must admit: it was one of the lamest BMW attempt of "whatever".
The hourglass is interesting but the internet site counter is lame - without any proper function.
So it is the worldwide hype ... for Russian market limited event.

Someone should be fired at BMW!

Unless ... there is still something to be seen. ;)

Deleting this thread is not needed imo.
It's pretty upsetting though, because the never-stand-still website has the official BMW sign in the right corner, and it says this in the preview text:

BMW is taking this approach as cause for a very special event.
The world's largest hourglass is counting down to the event at the Red Square in Moscow.

What event? A digital timer that resets itself? LMFAO!!!!! Gimme a break!!
There has to be something else! Or are they making fun of us now?

Well it's 24:05 over here and I'm going to be. Will be waking up in 9-10 hours when there will hopefully be something to be seen rather than the world largest tea spoon or something.

Well I decided not to wait, I'm going to bed. It's 1 AM here...Eni can sleep safely now....or can he

Isn't creative marketing supposed to be positive? If you guys knew this, you should have said. I and a lot of others are seriously put off by this crap

waiting for freaking nothing. I am out of this thread to. BLAH!

Eni, if I wait and nothing happens I will hunt you down :usa7uh:

I had no idea what this "Never stand still" hype was / is all about.

"The new era" is about 7er, "The coupe above" is about X6.

This one wasn't on my radar at all. It's just ... something. :D

Enjoy the huge hourglass, and the never-getting-tired digital countdown timer. :D

Never stand still. Jump, scratch, ...., too much coffee, ... speed, cocaine ... never stand still. Vroom! You go forward even when going backwards. BMW going metal. Syntax error. Windows will now shut down. Remove the power plug, and throw your computer in the garbage bin. Beeeeeeep!

Scotty, this is mental!

The timer just takes your PC's time and counts down to midnight July 8th. So if you forward your clock to midnight, it will start counting up. What crap!

And tell the idiots to stop using .net crap.

World's largest hourglass showcasing BMW new flagship: the new BMW 7 series ??????????? WTF?

A link to F01 @ bmw.co.uk :eusa_doh:

This is a major disaster for BMW marketing. Ouch! What a blast! OMG!

"Never stand still. Just be lame!"

******

It seems like 2 different teams in marketing dept. did 2 different new 7er campaigns. One was the super-cool "The new era." campaign, the other one is this super-lame "Never stand still." camapign

I'm so embarrassed. I apologize to all of you for all the inconvenience.

But ... I said it would be a biggie. A big disaster! :(

It's there, look at the photos section.

Another F01. That's all? :eusa_doh:

Yes, it was a Russian market limited event ... Where F01 was presented to the public. Among other BMW cars. Nothing wrong with that. But then why the worldwide promotion for the event? If only they provided a live streaming of the event via the internet site, and making this event as the exclusive 7er presentation. And releasing the press release with pics just after the event.

But now we had several F01 presentations: BMW Welt, BMW Museum, Red Square in Moscow, the 7er microsite is limited (more coming in September) etc.

I'm so pissed off. :t-banghea:t-banghea:t-banghea:t-banghea:t-banghea

Scott, somebody should be fired! What a great car, but what a lame launch! I just can't believe it!
