If the car is debuting in the next 40 days, we should start seeing almost camo free mules by now, isn´t it? I mean we know what the car looks like. Baside sovering the front and rearlights, and the details about the new shoulder line, the rest of the car is pretty evolutionary.

Time to show some more skin!!

What I have heard.

5er Sedan Europe will be before the end of 2016. The US early 1st Quarter 2017.
5er Touring will arrive 1st quarter of 2017 so far Europe only.
5er Gran Turismo will launch Second Quarter of 2017.
M5 will launch 2nd Quarter of 2017 (Concept model) (Production Possibly M Festival 2017?) Production model IAA 2017. European market introduction towards end of 2017.US early 2018.

Mercedes-AMG made a big statement by lauching a number of new AMG models at this year's NYIAS being that the northeast has long been one of the largest markets for performance Audis/BMWs/MBs. Seems rather plausible that M would follow suit by debuting a M5 concept in NY - it would easily be star of the show.

And yet the last M5 Concept was unveiled at Shanghai in April 2011. So precedent isn't on New York's side.

I would agree it is now common on the eve of either the Beijing and Shanghai Autoshows that we hold the annual BMW M night. BMW M has a special place in China as it is desired as a youthful brand. In terms of a younger age percentage it is the largest market.
