Z Series Z4 coupe pic thread...

Although the car will be a track performer I feel that it will be under powered, it' really deserves to house the V10 engine.

..........and I also think that Disney should buy one from Mr goofy becasue his head and the car are very similar.

underpowered? if its underpowered you can say the same thing about SLK55 and Boxster. I dont think they are underpowered cause they dont weigh much.
Hopefully Z4 gets the V8 from the upcoming M3.

of course they can but I think its a price issue. Using the V10 from M5 and Z4 would be expensive as hell.

I loved the looks of this car ever since I first saw it - it looks particularly good in silver - but I love that dark blue one siko posted. I would have to think very long and hard before I chose between one of these and a SLK - it really is a very desirable little car.

I wouldn't exactly call it little becasue the Z4 is quite a large roadster. The Z4 looks extreamly good in silver due to the flame surfacing and it guess this goofy mobile will look great in light colours. On the negative side it will take several months before we even get to see this MZ4 coupe on the roads. The coupe will be launched some time the next three months and then add about 6-9 months for the M version.

Yes, those are official pics - indicating the press kit for Z4 Coupe is already in the hands of media, and embargo ending next week - since media get the kit approx. a week before embargo ends.

I'm a bit surprised these release comenig before E92 PR, especially since they've doing the shooting in RSA in mid Dec - way after the E92 shooting.

But it seems right according to what BMW AG were willing to say (Nov 3, 2005):

The Z4 Coupe is expected to be launched late January or early February along with the M4 Coupe. M4 - this is how we discuss these models @ BMW because MZ4 is a mouthfull especially to us forever misinterpreted Germans.
