Your Ultimate 911 GT3 Touring?

Hey guys, I've got a fun challenge...

Using the Australian configurator, I'd like you to come up with your ultimate 911 GT3 Touring specs.

1. The specs must represent your idea of a modern classic. Something you'd keep for 20+ years.
2. No PTS
3. Nominate your choice of manual or PDK
4. No more than $90k in options. The configurator makes tracking this easy.

All just for fun. 😆

I saw the green configuration in the car park of the grocery store a few minutes ago, compared to gentian blue it’s almost too muted.

The gentleman thought obviously that this car is the perfect grocery getter.

Hey @Swissbob. You're the only one playing the game! I guess you managed to read between the lines lol.

Thank you.

As much as a I love blues, I don't think I could live with one right now. Our Tanzanite M850i has left me with maintenance nightmares lol.

My current specs look something like Option 1, but I'm wondering if I should lean towards something like Option 2.

I will likely keep my Crayon GTS, but stop driving it as much, and keep this GT3 alongside for the long term.

But I'm wondering if I should consider something more like this:

Perhaps dark green with gold wheels is so early 2020's, but I love it.
If I could on the configurator, I'd add 2 more things:
1) Paldao wood trim on the dash, console, and gear knob.
2) Pepita or a tartan cloth insert to the seats.

I left it with the manual, but that's more of a driver's choice than anything.

I had the same thoughts about the green and gold, but it's a combination I've always loved but never got around to owning anything green. I'm usually much more subdued in colour selections.

I would consider Paldao and Tartan, but they are not available on the Australian GT3 configurator, so it's not available here.

The manual is what I've chosen, as DSG's etc. will continue to improve and this may be one of the last chance to buy an excellent manual.

Is this a glitch in the configurator or why is the headliner always black?

It’d look so much roomier If the headliner could be in a bright color.

Save for the Oak Green, none of the non PTS colors get me excited.

Perhaps the "Jägermeister (aka Continental) Orange" that was popular in the 1970s ?:

Baßt scho'.

You missed the brief Jimmy 🤣

PTS is not available unfortunately. And I am nowhere near brave enough to drive that lol.

My top 2 pics atm are Jet Black and Oak Green Neo.

In that case Oak green with silver wheels and without black pack.

Black is the most boring color on a 911.

It’s a pity that there’s no wood inside, If you take the manual I’d always choose the wooden shifter from the 911 T.

BTW you can’t compare gentian blue with bmw tanzanite blue, the former looks even If dirty very good.
