almost what i wanted to say except that this one might be the better looker and certainly the better seller. This will be an interesting comparison test

I most certainly agree with this.

I'm looking forward to the presentation of both of these cars at the IAA Mobility in just over a week's time.

Especially elegant in darker paint colors:

Conflicting reports as to whether this is coming to the German market. Hopefully so. It's presence would enrichen our roads. An absolutely beautiful automobile IMHO.

The new Polemaster looks better tho.

M

Perhaps true. But Polestar needs to significantly increase paint color choices for the Polestar 5. The current very limited "non color" range will be a detriment. More choices are also necessary for upolstery colors.

This car is very impressive, the exterior design looks sharp and modern, but the interior can look a little too predictable compared to other Chinese cars.

I prefer Chinese EVs that resemble normal ICE cars. Other EVs like the above look too alike or resemble polestar models too much: smooth bodies, skinny lights and humpback rear ends.

IMHO tremendous piece of designcraft.

French-Algerian chief designer Rafik Farraq a PSA veteran. It tends to show by way of some subtle "hints" of Citröen (XM sedan of the 1990's). There's a bit of Rover SD1 as well. And if one squints, even a trace of 1970's FIAT Dino coupe.

I really hope to have an opportunity to scrutinize this car "in the metal". As far as I know, it is not yet clear whether the car will be marketed in Germany or not.
