5 Series (F10) xDrive for F10/F11, when?

If I remember correctly it took about 6 months after GT was launched that xDrive models were made available. Any news about the xDrive for F10/F11? I am interrested in what options BMW will exclude this time for the xDrive. Is it the adaptive drive, the integral steering or better yet the sport automatic transmission...

I would guess in time for Geneva 2011, in March next year.

I would also like to know when the 530d will get stop-start technology combined with the 8 speed auto and the 258hp engine like the X3.

The xDrive is now avaible on the 550i in France and probably in the rest of Europe

According to my information xDrive will be available for 528i, 535i, 525d and 530d in spring 2011.

Here's the official information for Europe, just in from BMW.

5-series xDrive variants:

• F10 550i xDrive (available)
• F10 535i xDrive (Q1 2011)
• F10 530d xDrive (Q1 2011)
• F11 535i xDrive (Q1 2011)
• F11 530d xDrive (Q1 2011)

5-series Sedan (F10):
"The system will be used initially in the new BMW 550i xDrive Saloon, with the BMW 535i xDrive and BMW 530d xDrive following in the first quarter of 2011."

5-series Touring (F11):
"BMW also highlights the introduction of xDrive all-wheel-drive for the Touring models. xDrive will be available from spring 2011 in the BMW 535i xDrive Touring and BMW 530d xDrive Touring."

Quite a premium being asked for the 35d compared to the 30d, though there is an acceptable performance advantage.

The xDrive-version? I think it will be available at the same time when the F11 550i xDrive will arrive in the showrooms. But I don't know whether the 535d xDrive will be available in the US.

My dealer just sent an email that they have the 535i xDrive in stock. So, if its available in US now it should be in Europe.

Only the F10 550i xDrive is currently available in Europe. The 535i xDrive is only available in combination with the F07.
