If that translates to $12k here in the US, as well get the GT3 for another 12k. Unless of course you are one of those posers who don't know how to shift for your self.

Really though. That much money for a minuscule bump in power is just retarded.

Such an American comment. Pretty much everyone else in the world knows how to drive a manual.

What the F__k does that have anything to do with America? You think people in developed countries all drive Manuals? You think ALL Canadians, British, Japanese, Koreans, Germans, etc., drive manuals? You must be smoking some good sh!t.

If you don't know something, don't open your mouth. In this case, don't type it. Bashing a country for no reason makes you look like a jackass.

Let's keep it clean. I think it is fair to say that the US is an automatic transmission market.

Not sure what you are taking umbrage at? My comment was, if you are going to spend 12k to get this package as well spend another 12 and get the GT3, but that is not an option if you do not know how to drive a manual.

Keep it clean? How did I dirty it? America is a Automatic market? So is Japan, Korea and Canada. Don't get your sh!t twisted. Once again, if you don't know, please don't write anything.

hello hello, be nice to our new Moderator. You are a little too sensitive, i it becuase you are american? :D Seriosly though, nothing to get upset about. Sweden invented animal sex and americans are wellknown for their love for automatics :D

At least here, US cars are known for being mostly automatic, just 10 years ago that was not the case here at all. Now they are much more common. That said, I agree, there are many more markets where automatic transmissions are common, there are many in asia, for instance, where automatic transmissions have started to gain popularity.

Keeping it clean means not accusing people of being on drugs just because they have an opinion that don't fit yours.

Yeah, that's a problem only Americans have I guess. And a lot of them. Almost all of them in fact ;)

So this Porsche is basicly a Sport Classic?

No, did I say something to suggest otherwise or do you just like asking stupid questions? One of my own cars is not manual. I know that 20% of cars sold in Europe are not manual. There is also a big difference between buying/driving an automatic and not knowing how to drive a manual.

Trying to tell me what I can and can't say/type is positively Un-American (First Amendment).

PS. Profanity doesn't make your argument any more convincing.

Your first part is asinine enough for me to ignore.

As for this little gem. Wow, thank you for telling me what my Bill of Rights says. As for it being Un-American. Didn't anyone in your entire life teach you the lesson about "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything mean," or something or other? If you did get that lesson, were they taking your rights away?

As for profanity not making my argument more convincing...Do you really think I give sh!t? If profanity is such a bad thing then I'm sure all those leaders over the years who used it to motivate their personnel must not have had a good effect. ANY speech in the right context (profanity laden or not) will have the desired affect barring a few factors.

I can choose to be very scholarly and write eloquently, but seeing as we are on an internet forum discussing cars, and I consider most people on here my friends, I see no need to write in such a way. Profanity is a something I use every day amongst friends, but thanks for your concern though.

It is indeed a pricey upgrade, but worth it to those faithful to the standard outfit on the 911. The GT3 is close in price to a X51 997CS but the less civilised ride comfort and the absence of rear seats makes some people less inclined to opt for a GT3.
