keep in mind that football shoes are no average shoes - believe me these stubbles can really hurt

Not in a million years was it a penalty. Yes there was contact, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a foul. Robben's reaction was not natural.

But to me Holland prove, it not going to win the champion in that playing, and Brazil as well. Germany, France or Belgium going to win that. Hope so ;)

Hopefully not France! It should be Holland this time around. Germany deserves it too. Belgium has little chances. Their performance might seem good now but wait for the direct eliminations where the big teams play a different game.

There were several instances where he should have been awarded with one before. This last foul was the conclusion of previous incidents, imo

Didn't see the entire match, but if it's true that the referee was making up for previous mistakes then that would be even worse. I only watched the "foul" in replay, and the reaction was Oscar worthy.

How big of a deal is the world cup over in America?

I'll say that it's not as big a deal as Europe or South/Central America. But it's getting more and more popular. I'd say it has to do with having a team that can actually do something.

Belgium hasnt played the game it should have, but lets not forget that Holland was Lucky in the last game... ;)

I have said it before and I say it again, the underdog teams are doing much better than I thought and will end far this WK.

i am some how sorry for algeria, they really fought until the last second

Yep they played above their league today and I mean that in a positive way. With the fighting spirit they showed today, they would have won against a lot of countries in the wk!!!
It was a very good game to watch, exciting and decent gameplay.
