I already saw the new Lancer upclose but it never hurts to check out the EVO versions and the Lancer Prototype-S Concept! Both were awesome looking cars. I do like the new Lancer a lot. It's a very dynamic looking machine and everything about it seems improved. I hope Mitsubishi doesn't pull out of the North American market because I think the Lancer and the Prototype-S have a lot of potential, especially when compared to the somewhat shocking designs Nissan and Toyota are churning out lately.

MORGAN
Here are the obligatory pictures of the Morgan stand. I personally couldn't care much about them since their newer cars are just so incredibly ugly. I think mixing classic 1930s design with modern design cues is a disaster.
NISSAN
I went to the Nissan stand with only one thing in mind: the GT-R. The car was sealed off from the public but I arrived just in time to have a friendly Nissan employee let me and a bunch of other people in to take some closeup shots. I was amazed that they're already available in LHD, because I thought this car wasn't going to be sold in North America or Europe. Anyway, it's a very badass car. At one point they had the car simulating a competitive drive around the 'Ring using hydraulic devices underneath it. The screen showed the track of the 'Ring as if taken from a video camera attached to the nose of the GT-R and to the left they showed you engine speed and the speed of the GT-R in km/h. To the right was a little map showing you where on the 'Ring the GT-R was at this moment. When the car slowed down via forced braking, the rear braking lights light up. It was a very cool show and also included the engine sound of the GT-R. A very cool car. Definitely a top 10 at the show.
Even more impressive was another Nissan GT-R which was cut in half allowing you to see the transmission and engine in great detail. It was very impressive. Nissan sure as hell has one amazing car here.
Since Nissan had really nothing new or interesting to showcase besides the GT-R, I took some shots of their Pivo concept car and then moved on.
