strange to see I am the first in the list to own a blackberry! I currently have a torch 9800.
Waiting on nokias new wp8 range which will probably make me change my phone.

Good point. I love Blackberry. Pretty underrated if you ask me. Maybe a little behind the times when in comparison to some of the newer smartphones. A friend of mine has a Torch as well. Very good unit. Personally, I like the sliding keyboard. The Samsung I had before my HTC had a sliding screen. It made typing fun and fast!

I would love to get a new one, but I'm still under contract until the end of the world.

I'm contracted to this crappy "intermittent" LG too, but I bought some plan from Best Buy where they'll buy this phone back from me for a guaranteed price (I never get that crap but only did for insurance to get iPhone 5 for minimal contract breakage if I want) and not lose much (if hopefully any at all) for a break of contract.

I hope they call it "iPhone 5". There's just something cool about that name, and when you look at its text, there's a symmetry to it that just looks clean and "right". "iPhone 6" doesn't look or sound as cool. IMO, they should call this "iPhone 5" and then with the next models, break the number naming to end the predictability factor like they did with the iPad.

I have two phones all the time.

Current is Samsung galaxy S3 and Blackberry 9790..

I had a Nokia Lumia 800 for 7 months i changed to S3 while i like my S3 a lot it can not match the quality of the LUMIA and also the usability off the Windows is amzing...

The main problem for Windows 7.5 is its not very good in Sync and stuff and lacks proper Bluetooth other then that its a great OS i reccomend all of you to at least try the Windows 8 when it launches after September 8..I have a friend who is using a demo nokia Windows 8 he says it has almost all what other smartphones has plus it has better battery as well as brilliant build quality as well as it has also the best synchronising from laptop or pc to a cellphone he says it has some lovely sync something the 7.5 was pathetic at...

Also the BB well what can i say worst batteries in the market but i cant do without BBM lol and i get free mails and stuff just pay R60 per month....Rumours off BB 10 comming out in early 2013 they say its going to put BB in line with rest off the OS that will be great because currently they a few years behind the rest..

I do change my phones almost every 3 months i am a very busy phone changer lol..

I have used iPhone 4 and 4s not my cup off tea...Better built then a Samsung but that's about it...

Samsung Galaxy S2 with SGP neo hybrid yellow case. Even though it is more than a year old it is still holding up very well against the new generation of phones.

I like my phone but the most annoying thing is the lack of processing power! Even when changing applications or typing quickly it can freeze for few seconds or longer and its frustrating. Web browsing is pretty poor too. I wouldn't go as far as saying they are underrated, they have a lot of catching up to do regarding the competition. If blackberry didn't have bbm and good security they would be easily dead and buried by now. I have always been a fan of hybrid phones (physical keyboard + touchscreen) but physical keyboards are just fading away which is annoying!
