Which offers the best, most impartial reviews, best photography, most interesting and funny editorials, spy shots scoops and most reliable insider information and renderings?

EVO...best magazine for all-around pics and write-ups, especially when they had Chris Harris on staff. And now that they got Tiff writing columns, I'm sure they are still good. I also like Insideline...they have a feature every now and then called "suspension walk-around" which I quite like.

The sad thing is that I don't check out mags as much as I did back in the day. I usually come here, Autoblog, and Insideline. I used to love Car and Driver's humor, but it's just not the same anymore.

Well since I can only read english publications (& some very basic spanish), I vote Autocar solely because of their rather thorough road tests. But lots of things suck about Autocar.

I added EVO and Sport Auto to the poll.

My two favorites are Sport Auto and AutoBild Sportscars.
SA is still the benchmark for me, but AB Sportscars became one of the most informative and most detailed german magazine out nowadays.

However, my vote goes for Sport Auto.

EVO, even though I don't care much for the editorial under Nick Trott. Dunno what it is, I've been subscriber for 10 years and it's just not the same at the moment. It's lacking in a bit of EVOness of late. Still, the combination of experienced writers plus the best car photography in print places it above the rest.

I don't feel strongly about any of the magazines since I feel they all say the samethings 80% of the time. I get more wisdom out of spending time on German car forum. Occasionally Evo or autocar have an insightful spread but overall they are all general in much about what they write.

Some of these magazine mostly just drive the cars, without putting some testing gear on them. That is of course much easier, but for me not so interesting as tehnical and performance details. Personal opinions are also the question of tast and experience and you can not express thoroughly all the differencies between cars, especialy if we talk about very fast cars. I miss more tests about special and racing cars. Car and driver, Motor trend and Road & Track used to do more speciality car and racing cars track tests, now they are doing the same boring tests as other magazines. There are technical and performance catching cars, that have never been tested by any magazine (f.e. Dauer 962LM, Undergroundracing Gallardo, Ruf CTR3, ...), just driven. I was subscribed to above mentioned magazines, also to Sport Auto, but I have canceled them all.

I don't read car magazines anymore.
I get the same(even better) information on the net for no money :)

This.

Fluffly "reviews" simply rehashing press release information don't cut it for me.

I would vote Auto.CZ as best for pictures even though it's not on your list. I can't read Czech, but go to their website all the time because of the pictures.

Overall I would have to say EVO. Whether it's the 'best' or not it's the magazine that I personally enjoy reading the most. Though of course it must be said that all of these magazines are great in their own respect.
