Unfortunitely, today my car was attacked once again by some human failure. I parked it outside the gym and when i came back, i saw a massive dent on the right rear passanger door. It is REALLY deep and VERY obvious. I am aboslutely pissed off. It is only a Subaru wagon, nothing exciting or expensive. Within 9 months of ownership it has been constantly damanged by wankers on the street, and i don't park it at the same spot or the same place, or even the same suburb everytime when i leave the car on the street.
So far someone has made a slight dent on the driver door, someone else cracked my side indicator lense on the side mirror, some imbreed scratched my front bumper and this latest genetic disaster has made a massive dent on my rear door.
The only way to prevent this is to never leave the car on the street, which is what we are doing with our Merc.
I know a car is a car but i think we car enthusiast alway look at cars differently from normal people. Has anyone tried to damage your cars? How, if possible do you avoid you car from being damaged?
Oh, don't give me ideas - i can be talking about this all day long
On this subject, i have much much experience to tell you.
First, with my cars. The Volvo has not been washed since summer so noone car spot it, even though there are very few on the roads! Plus i only park it in protected park spaces and garages, which costs me enough, but saves me enough money if someone damages it. But since shit always happen, that's why i still keep my old clio

I just don't care about it. Leave it anyware, keep it dirty, and half damaged (exterior only)
The Clio has been keyed many times, and even more times someone has broke my mirrors, or stole my fog lights, my hubcaps or the "1.4" mark

The last time something happened it was last summer when i broke up with my previous girlfriend and she broke my side mirrors

i have mentioned it once...
Second, i saw once somebody keying a car. Not mine, not an expensive one. Just a car. And after giving some real hard words on him, he started running

I am very persuasive
All i can tell you is that such "minor" damage costs a lot to fix. Really a lot
