Wheels: HSV W427 vs AMG CLS-63

A few tenths and $115K separates Australia's new performance king from one of Germany's fastest. Can the CLS63 justify its premium, or will the W427 be exposed as a pretender?

I was going to post this a few days ago but somehow forgotten about it. It is an alright article, there isn't enough in depth analysis. Wish they put the HSV next to the M5, now that will be a good match up.

I think that is what Holden wants people to think about the car, when they 1st launch the car, they put the car on the moon.

The Holden will probably be the most mental car to drive...EVER and will be the best at drifting and burnouts also the styling in mental but...I couldn't resist the class of the Mercedes so I'd buy the Holden!!!!

It was quite a silly test. In the end they complain about the CLS's lack of practicality.

Aussie magazines tend to wet their pants over new Holden products (Car of the year awards, comparison tests etc.) Only to realise 3-4 years later the product is clearly inferior while the Euro counterpart still seems as good as ever.
