MX5 is great fun for a small amount of money and it's enconomic..
it dosn't look that bad and I've heard the quality isn't bad either.
But all cars over 10 years have their faults..
I can see the issu about cab or not.. Cause I'm there my self, I was looking for my first car today as well, Golf Cab. but I want to save some more money for the car in my avatar..

(and If you ask you're father "please", maybe you can have the 4.2 for a day or two)

Cabriolets rule.
Believe me, right now we have 3 benzes and all of them are rusty. 1997, 1999 & 2002 models. one of them the rust was visiable while others were rusty from the inner parts
Yikes. Alright, I better be more careful.
Ohh, Mazda MX-5! I always loved this car. The reason? It's hell fun! And i mean a lot of fun. Driving-wise it has quite a good handling if you don't press it, but if you want it, then you can slide it very easily. Quality-wise it's good enough, but you should better go for the second generation as it has better plastics and better design! If i were you, i would consider it a lot!
Looks like the general concensus is to get the NB model. I'll go take a look at it. It's a good idea anyway, it's easier to find a good model NB stock rather than a NA one.
