very respected. even though they've been contracted to do some lower end asian cars recently, they're still able to make them look decent...or atleast interesting.

...imo, this is the best looking "made in china" car i've ever seen.

Indeed!! the disigner jumped on that impression far too quit for even BMW to muster.

But in spite of designing some of the world's most desirable cars, even Sergio Pininfarina had his off days.

A real low point for Pininfarina would have to be the ghastly Rolls-Royce Camargue from the 1970's.

The other thing is I don't think the design agencies try as hard with these budget models as they would with a prancing horse. Surely it wouldn't be good for Italian cars makes if Chinese vehicles looked better!
