S-Class W221 S65 AMG vs. W220 S65 AMG (JD Power Quality review)

Quality reports on performance cars are kind of hard to find.

I thought the one on the S65 looked interesting..

Just quickly glancing at the data, the W221 just kills the W220 in nearly every category.

And that is a really good thing.

It's hard to imagine how boring the W220 S-Class now looks. I remember how I always thought it looked elegant and classy and in AMG trim it looked really nice. Sporty and very elegant. But now, with the W221 taking over, I can't look at the W220 anymore. The W221 not only outclasses it in technology, quality etc., but also in design, inside and out - IMO.

I agree with wimmer430... The W221 has all the elegance of the W220
but adds a bit more aggressiveness to the look. On top of that, in AMG trim it`s driving character is more dynamic as the owners suggests.

There is no question that the W221 S-Class, is an excellent car to own.
