E-Class (W211) W211 COMMAND upgrade

It seems like MB have installed the updated version of the COMMAND in the car's final year of production. I came across this when I was doing some random browsing. It isn't anything special, but I thought fellow E-class fans/nerds might be interested to know.

Checked the manual!! Yes, it is the upgraded version with SD-Card insert:

Ah... I was wondering why MB didn't update Command when they facelifted the W211. Glad it's here now, but I think many people would wait for the new E before they start plonking down serious money for one.

Surprised they bothered. The ML should have gotten this before the E.

Now the only car left with the older COMMAND is the CLK, wonder if MB has upgraded the unit in it as well.

Yep with the facelift in the ML, and the GL and R just as regular equipment changes.
