E-Class (W211) W211 COMMAND upgrade


The Mercedes-Benz W211 is the third generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class made from 2001 to 2009 in sedan/saloon and station wagon/estate configurations – replacing the W210 E-Class models and superseded by the Mercedes-Benz W212 in 2009.

It seems like MB have installed the updated version of the COMMAND in the car's final year of production. I came across this when I was doing some random browsing. It isn't anything special, but I thought fellow E-class fans/nerds might be interested to know.

Ah... I was wondering why MB didn't update Command when they facelifted the W211. Glad it's here now, but I think many people would wait for the new E before they start plonking down serious money for one.
 
Now the only car left with the older COMMAND is the CLK, wonder if MB has upgraded the unit in it as well.
