Swedish carmaker Volvo has announced that it would recall 56,000 vehicles due to two different problems. The first recall involves 38,000 diesel cars in Europe of the S60, V70 XC70 and XC90 models made in 2006 due to a fuel injector plants material fault that could cause the motor to catch fire. The second recall, involving 18,000 of Volvo’s latest V70 and XC70 models, relates to an air bag problem in the side of the car. The cars have mainly been sold in Sweden, Britain and in the U.S.
