This recently revamped showroom towers next to the Mercedes-Benz's one and features A LOT of glass. I thought a sphere shape was planned but eventually I think they shelved it. Still I believe this is the largest BMW showroom is South-East Asia! Enjoy the photos.

High-gloss chrome. A bit too flashy for some.

I eagerly await the launch of the F01 in this showroom as I have no doubt it's gonna be magnificent!

Thanks for the photos!! Looks like a great showroom…

really cool shorwoom James, thanks for sharing the fantastic pics.

btw, this is the shifter that comes on the DCT equipped cars, right?

Nice show! New 7-series is yet to come & why I can't see any Z-series & X3 there? :t-hands:

No, that interior is from the 6-series and the 6er doesn't come with DCT, so this is the regular 6-speed automatic, like in the 5er, X5 and X6 :t-cheers:

Nice showroom, the BMW garages near me are always the most boring out of all the car showrooms unfortunately.

Thanks guys! Actually to tell the truth (and I know you guys are tying to be nice), I'm not satisfied with my photos at all. My new camera is just a headache to get good pictures from and frankly, I'm not touching Fujifilm again! My old Canon was just great, gonna wait for this to spoil and get a Canon. In my old cam, all I needed was to point and shoot and I had great photos... As you can see, I'm not much of a photography man.

Thanks for the photos!! Looks like a great showroom…

I'm waiting for Audi's one next to these 2. MB and BMW are head-on in terms of rivalry here! Audi's showroom pales in comparison for now at least.

The new 7er is launching this month here, although they say we're the largest market for 7ers in Asia. They did bring a teaser unit, Singapore was the destination right after its Paris debut. Apparently they had some test mules running on our streets. I never noticed anything and neither did anybody else. :eusa_thin

Nice show room!!

As for your cam Mr.M it's not bad!

quality isn't as sharp as a DSLR but you didn't pay DSLR prices:usa7uh:

It's the Sports Auto to be even more exact. AFAIK it's the only automatic transmission available for the 6er but the 5er also has the regular automatic with a different shifter design and without the paddles behind the steering wheel.

The X5 and X6 have the same shifter as the regular automatic in the 5er but in addition have the paddles behind the steering wheel. I don't have the time to check but perhaps it's the same Sports Auto than in the 6er but with a different shifter.

^ As far as I know, the automatic transmission in those cars is technically the same. The only noticable difference is the design of the actual shifter.
Maybe the shifting speed has been upped a bit for the 6er, I don't know that, but I don't think the gearbox in the X5 is much different from the 6er.
