I don't know if the SL65 won in the end, but I think the SLR was slowing down for some reason. Maybe because of traffic ahead.

Still a decent video. I like the way the SLR's gauges look at night. The SL65 has a huge torque advantage, but more weight keeps it back as the SLR's V8 revs within an inch of its life.

Great video, thanks Yaz! Another reason for me to never consider SLR. Why? When i can buy 3 times cheaper SL65 with almost same numbers and still give to SLR a hard time!

Well I don't see that the SL65 is a SLR threat. Just look at Porsche the GT2 is extremly fast. In fact nearly as fast as the CGT in a straight line but on a track we all know which ones is the king. The same goes for the SLR and SL65.
