Rolling start will tell a lot. Standstill will mostly tell you if a car is RWD, FWD or AWD

Agree, and disagree. It's all about the good reflexes, how good start you get standstill and rolling start, and what is the conditions. Just like the different cartest, other is faster than the other standstill and rolling start and different test. Race-series is fair, for example Formula 1, every driver has same type of car, same power, etc. And there the first start is standstill start, and once again, it dependes how good start you get. Same is if comes crash, and the safetycar comes, then comes the rolling start, and once again, its all about, how good start you get. Why you think the many carmagazine-test, first is standstill and then is rolling start numbers. And whats comes to numbers in the carworld, every numbers is to mee important. But it's all about the reflexes, cars, power, conditions, etc. Categorys are many of them.

All this text you just wrote down.. It's just so wrong. Dr Dunkel clearified it very easy. Read his answer, and that is how it is in the real world. When you have three exactly the same powerful cars, same weight, same tyres etc, a standing start will ALWAYS be: AWD - RWD - FWD. Period.

All a standing start tells is which car has the most traction off the line for the available grip of the surface but on a dry/grippy dragstrip the advantage AWD has else where all but disappears. Also standing starts also tell the skill of the drivers when with FWD or RWD, with AWD you simply acceleration.
