How are/were your vacation plans for this season?

Me, I'm surrounded by poor friends so I'm thinking of going somewhere by myself for a week or so. But I've yet to find something that seems promising enough to risk the boredom of going alone. Suggestions?

15 days from 05. - 19.08. on our beautiful coast...

Go to Egypt. Sinai Peninsula. Fly in to Sharm-el-Sheikh, make your way to Dahab. Learn to Scuba dive or just snorkel the Red Sea if budget doesn't permit. Revel in the fantastic night life, the tanned girls and insanely hot weather. Ride a camel into the desert (it's shit but worth ticking the experience box) for sundowners. Epic. Relatively cost-effective.

^That's my plan for next year... I've heard the same from some of my friends and i'll definitely go there next summer... Hopefully i'll meet that big guy Tarek down there...
