Too bad this thread's called V12 Kings. Otherwise I would take the Alpina B7 Biturbo. Stunning vehicle.

The BMW is goofy looking in LWB form and on the outside looks like any other 7-Series. The S600 is getting old. The new A8L W12 is funny looking at best. Interior is Audi advantage. Exterior is Mercedes. Best engine is BMW. Tough choice here, vote pending further pondering.

I think the thread should be titled "12cyl kings" because V12 excludes the Audi which is a W12 engine configuration.

The Bimmer takes my vote.

S600 was the 12-Banger king till the new 7-Series got the new beast under her hoor. 760Li sure rules the ring!

The 760li does have the S600 beat when it comes to power. I think I still prefer the overall look and sophisticated interior of the S600.

I would choose the 760i, hate how all the long versions look like. The bimmer has the best interior look, the nicest exterior (the S without the AMG looks a bit weird) and the best engine, so easy choice here.

Yep, me too. 760i short wheel base. Best engine, looks and interior combo for me

But you can't go wrong with either version obviously..

S Class. No brainer really. Though why they feel they need to remind you that you got the V12 is kinda weird... its not as if i'd put my foot down in the S600 and think 'Wow! Fantastic acceleration... my tad bit expensive S350 sure does shift!'

Yep, it is - because the 7-speed auto wasn't able to perfom with the massive torque in the beginning! 65 AMGs also come with 5-speed!

A8 not for me, although if BMW and Merc decided not to have a 12cyl in there current line-up....then any dream will do! Thus kudos to VAG/Audi for using their W12

I only V12 I have ever driven myself was an SL 600.
I was like the whole trip. Acceleration above 100 km/h is so crazy and smooth.
