As a lot of you here know I hold the W124 E-Class in high regard with the "500" version sitting at the head of the that exhualted class. Well I have found 2 that are in unbelievable condition. The first one was owned by Al Unser Jr and was given to him by Mercedes-Benz for his winning the Indy 500. This car has an unbelievable 8,865 miles! We're talking a 13 year old car here:

JB36

The second has one is Black on Black example with only 32K miles on the clock. Stunning mileage and condition also.

JB59

Oh how I wish I could get one of these. The Spruce Green one I know is way out of my range because of that mileage. The Black one is likely in the $40-50 or better range. They just don't make'm like this anymore.

This Benz restorer/collector has a good number of pristine vintage Benzes for sale, very interesting.

I have found what is likely the best example (the green one) of my favorite older Benz, in the U.S. if not the world, all I need now is the money!

Great car, no doubt.:bowdown:

What you Marcus feel for it, by me that's the old 6er. If i could get one, i'd put a lot of money in it and keep it my whole life...:eusa_pray

:t-cheers:

I understand perfectly, I too loved that car. A childhood girlfriend's father had one. I'd always told him that I'd buy it when I grew up, so you can imagine my dismay when he wrapped it around a tree years later.

M

They have a W124 E320 Wagon too, the condition is unreal.

M

Indeed! :bowdown: Car is well kept, both inside and outside, looks like it's only few years old...:eusa_clap

:t-cheers:

Great find Marcus. Green seems to me to be an unusual colour for this car ....it looks fantastic.

:bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown:

Love this car :D:D:D

Old school Benz... cant be beaten

In comparision to older BMW's they look so much more modern and look like a bank vault :usa7uh:

STUNNING!
So they're both for sale? I wonder how much the green one will cost.

:eek2::eek2::eek2: and only 8 miles,am i dreaming?!

I'd take that car over a brand new E-Class:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

OMG!! The condition is fabolous!! Just awesome!! I love the green - the leather is in top condition!! Just stunning. :bowdown:

Amazing, especially the green one. Pure perfection. The W124 is the best look E-class without any discussion. The design was bold, luxurious, powerful and perfect.

Awesome! Thanks for posting those! That green one is gorgeous looking!! I too am a big fan of the W124, that one looks brand new!!

Just glancing at older Benzes again, a 1999 SL500 in unbelievable shape:

Rob which do you like the most, a W124 500E/E500, E320 Coupe or a nice R129 SL500? Or which would you buy from this group?

M

This 1990 500SL must be owned by most meticulous of Mercedes owners:

Just ridiculously clean for a 17 year old car!

M

That R129 SL interior looks like it came fresh out of the factory. Whoever owned this car really appreciated it and treated it right.

:eek2::eek2::eek2: and only 8 miles,am i dreaming?!
It looks amazing for sure but I'm afraid that the engine is a different story. That mileage seems a bit too low. Gasket's might be fragile and the engine is not well lubricated...

Cars need to be driven, that's what they are here for! :t-drive::usa7uh:
