I had said before I was thinking about getting the International RXT truck, but today I ordered a 2007 Dodge 3500 Laramie Mega Cab Diesel dual rear wheel truck in black. Should be here in less than 2 months. It will be a daily driver and I will tow cars to the racetrack with it. This pic is similar, only not a Mega Cab-

While there I also put down a deposit on a 2008 Viper Diamondback (rumored 650 hp) The car has not been officially announced for production yet, but when it is, I'll be first in line at the Naples dealer. Who knows what color it will come in, but I like the coupe in copperhead orange with silver stripes. That would look good next to the orange Gallardo and GT3RS in the garage.

As for the color too the Diamondback.... Either Orange or black!!!

The truck is hot!!! Great choice, it will last forever if you decide to keep it that long!!!

Good luck!!!

Curious as to what other trucks you were looking at or were you already set on the Dodge? I hear great things about the Cummins diesels.

I thought about Ford, but too many mechanic friends told me they need frequent repairs. They also told me that Chevy/GMC were the best, but the styling is boring. I would have liked the International, but it is probably too big and costs more than twice as much as a fully loaded Dodge/Ford/Chevy. I also liked Dodge because in the end it also is a German company. The mega cab made it easy to convince my wife, because when her family comes to town they cannot fit into one vehicle and now they will be able to do that with seating for six (there is a lot of leg room in the back).

Sounds real good! I sense some garage alterations/enlargements happening at some point:D

You guys are so lucky. Here in S'pore we don't even space for a garage, it's a real premium to have one.

Er, so where do you park your cars, then?

Drronh - congrats on the cars. Huge truck, certainly, but then if you're transporting cars, it's not a small job.
