When I found out that there is gonna be the 2nd edition of Qatar Motor Show in Doha, Qatar, I just couldnt resist going there.
Even though I had a flu and was feeling really sick, I gave it a quick visit yesterday.
Of course, what lied in my interest, was the Audi stand.

So, here are some pics, and also a short video. Enjoy!

Your favorite car at the show? (R8 excluded)

If the RS5 would be pre-facelifted, it would be my choice.
But now, I have to give it up to the might S8. What a monster!!
S7 looks fantastic to, except that rear though...
But again.. S8... what a car!

Great pics dude. Everything except the Q3 look awesome. That S8 looks really nice in particular. I have yet to see my first S8, but that one is a real beauty unlike the regular A8.

I don't think I have to ask if you made any pics at the BMW stand? You probably didn't even visit it :D

Actually I passed by, to see the new 3er and the M5. I was disapointed at the M5, since it was presented in red(!)... Didnt look good on it, and it looked pretty much like a normal 5er. The 3er? Hmmm... It looks just like at the press photos. Didnt go wow over it either? What I did like though, was the the X6 and the X5. Love those cars!
And no, no pics, cause my battery died after I filmed my little movie.. Which sucked! I planned to take more pics of other brands though.

And about the S8, yeah it was the first A8/S8 that I went WOW on. The car really looks like a monster. They S8 kit really did magic on the car.
And I saw many arabs order them S8s right away...

How good does the S8 and S7 look? They look truly amazing that's what! Some people have issues with the rear of the A/S7 but that last photo just shows how nice it is with RLF photos.
Love the colour of the R8 GT also which looks amazing too!
Love how Audi have kept the box flares on the RS5 and still managed to incorporate the curvy 'Tornado Line'. Looks brilliant. Hope the RS7 and RS6 get box flares too.
Would love to see an RS8 with the S8 looking this good! However I suspect Audi will never produce one especially with rumours of an A9 coming into play.
Q3 is nice but in this company and in that colour Audi have done themselves no favours.

GREAT PICS TUMBO!

It is the S7 that leaves me so thoroughly impressed. The 21" 5 spoke Rotor wheel configuration suits the car well. Alas, I would prefer those wheels in a matte silver/light grey rather than shiny tone. But otherwise, pretty much perfect.

Man, Audi is bipolar to me: they have one of the most boring line up on the industry, and at the same time have the most exciting, amazing looking car on the planet: R8.

Is so amazing that after 6 years, the R8 manages to look more modern than any car I can think of.

I love new S8, it is so a handsome car!
S7 also is beautiful. And also I love new RS5 (FL) but not in white for sure.

Actually the RS5 on display at Qatar is Cumulus Blue, but it does have and off white or even Suzuka Gray look to it doesn't it?

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
