Introduced in 2023 as the first MINI Countryman available with an all-electric powertrain, the third-generation MINI Countryman receives a range of technological refinements to enable a single-charge range of over 300 miles.
The improved MINI Countryman E now boasts a range of up to 307 miles (WLTP*), offering customers more versatility than ever before, while the MIN Countryman SE ALL4 is capable of up to 287 miles (WLTP*). These improved figures are thanks to a number of innovative technical updates. Most importantly is a new silicon carbide (SiC) inverter, which guarantees highly efficient energy conversion while minimising power loss. This is complemented by an increased net high-voltage battery capacity of 65.2 kWh, providing more usable energy. Meanwhile the addition of friction-reduced wheel bearings on the front axle helps to reduce rolling resistance – each playing a part to optimise range.
Maximum Electric Car Grant Contribution.
The MINI Countryman Electric customers can now take advantage of the full £3,750 discount as part of the government’s ECG scheme. This discount, alongside the model’s range enhancements, result in an even more attractive MINI Countryman offering.
An already-compelling product offering.
The all-electric MINI Countryman blends the versatility of a compact crossover with MINI’s unmistakeable driving experience and iconic proportions: short overhangs, a short bonnet and a contrasting long wheelbase. Thanks to generous interior dimensions and a boot space of up to 1,450 litres, the MINI Countryman offers enough space for the entire family. Meanwhile, larger wheels, wider wheel arches and the removal of chrome details add to the vehicle’s road presence. Available in nine exterior paint colours and with nine alloy designs to choose from, there is endless possibility for customisation.
Moving inside, the interior of the vehicle echoes the minimalist design of the classic Mini, using just the round instrument cluster in the centre and the infamous toggle bar below. In the new MINI Countryman, it is precisely these two elements, in combination with the steering wheel, that are the focus of the interior cabin.
At the heart of the interior design is a central 24 cm circular OLED display, which enables intuitive operation the entire infotainment system. Advanced driver assistance systems enable up to Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities while ensuring comprehensive safety and maximum comfort.
The increased-range MINI Countryman Electric will be available from March 2026.
