Traded in my Range Rover...

Autotechnik Ace
... for a SV Autobiography.

Considered two alternatives (Panamera & Ghost Series I ). I simply couldn't find a Panamera in the right color combination with the right options. The Ghost is starting to show it's age and it's a bit too conspicuous for everyday use. Didn't look at the S-Class or competitors this time as I have an allocation for a facelift S63 Coupé due roughly May/June 2018 or when MBUSA decides...

I can't think of a better "do anything" vehicle. It's as much at home in NYC as it is in the Hudson Highlands. Went for the new SWB SVO Dynamic as I need a rear folding bench to haul materials.

Switched the liquid chrome wheels for a more timeless and rugged silver.

Welcomed additions:
- The new Autobiography leather work is quite amazing in person. Quilted contrast-stitching and a perforated black leather headliner.
- Nearly very nob is knurled metal and all brightwork is metal.
- A 21st century 10.2-in infotainment system. Years of universal owner complains addressed by Land Rover quietly and effectively.
- At the switch of a button it sounds like a F-Type R. Though admittedly obnoxious for a full size RR, I found myself giggling in sport mode with windows down driving through the Holland tunnel early in the morning.
- Even with 22 in wheels and lower ride height, the ride is incredibly smooth.

WOW, congrats. Until I see the Velar in person, this is still my fav Land Rover product. The SV Dynamic is the best one of them all. Stunning!!!!

Congratulations! My favorite Rover.
Why didn't you wait for the facelift?

I thought there'd be a facelift, which is why I had my previous RR for 3 years, but MY2017 with the tech upgrades and trim upgrades is actually the facelift MY (so they say).

There's a separate SVO Autobiography sport front/rear bumper available, but it isn't worth $20k extra

@Yaz Turns out there will be an Velar inspired facelift on sale late next year , as these spyshots from yesterday indicate. Good thing the second-hand market is excellent

Meh, enjoy what you have now. Don't think they'll be that many SVO's.
Who would have thought RR's will hold their values like they do now.

Congrats mate, stunning looking car as well! The Range Rover has been over shadowed by the newer cars lower down the range but it is nice that the company has been quietly improving the car as the year goes by. I haven't sat inside one before, from your photos, the build quality and attention to detail is right up there.
