my dad had a corolla for 12+ yrs with over 250,000miles on it. Never had a single problem and now we have a vw jetta and thats been in the shop like every week he wants to buy his corolla back

My comments:

1- Toyota recently had a problem with the steering wheel in some models. The problem even made headlines in some Greek newspapers and apparently some people here lost control of their cars and died.

2- My sister in law has the same Corolla to the one in the video and i have to say that it's a really bad car to drive. You always feel insecure. Also the build quality is below average. When you close the doors you hear a sound like tin can.

3- A girl i know had a brand new Yaris and she lost control and hit a tree last month. The airbags didn't deploy and she was almost killed. I bet she wished she drove a less reliable car but one where the airbags actually work.
