Series 15 of TopGear telly hits your screens this summer, and the boys are already hard at work filming a selection of mature, considered and balanced films on matters automotive for your considered consumption.Clearly we don’t want to give away all the secrets from the new series, but with the video below spreading across the internet like wildfire – OK, maybe not wildfire exactly, but a lively disposable barbecue at least – we thought we’d add a couple more shots of TopGear Motorhome Action to whet your appetite.

The video, if you haven’t seen it yet, was taken by a young couple on an obscure stretch of A-road in the south-west of England, and is surely the most extreme reaction to TopGear ever.

Possibly the most extreme reaction to anything, ever, in the history of the universe.

Though we don’t want to ruin the final film for you, the YouTube clip appears to show footage of our three intrepid heroes in some kind of jerry-built motorhomes. And Britain’s most excitable parents.

All we know is, it bodes well for the new series. Check back for more exclusives from series 15: it’s nearly here…

Hope this whole series will become better then the last…for some reason I wasn't a fan of Series 14 - missed the typical Top Gear humour and was a bit "lame", nothing really exciting…nevertheless - the best show ever…

Some news:

Hello there.

TG telly bossman Andy Wilman was going to write a few words about the new series today but he’s deep in the edit suite preparing the first show and can’t be disturbed, unless you’re offering a way to cut 45 seconds out of all the over-running VTs. Or some crisps. He likes crisps.

Anyway, as you might have noticed there’s a brand new series of TopGear starting this Sunday on BBC2 at 8pm if you’re in Britain, or a few minutes after 9pm UK time if you’re one of those people abroad who cheekily downloads the show off some illegal BitTorrent website. Don’t look guilty and fiddle nervously with your mouse cable. We know what you’re up to…

So, what to expect on your TV screen (or computer monitor slightly after 9pm BST if you live in Boise, Idaho) this coming Sunday? Well, we genuinely listened to your criticisms of the last series. Andy even wrote a blog about it, explaining in a very clever way why TopGear had inevitably lost its innocence. (He’s actually a very clever man, is Andy. Although you might assume otherwise if you saw him eating a bag of crisps. Imagine a pig inside a cement mixer full of Quavers. That’s what he looks like.)

We had A Big Meeting to talk about the future. The phrase ‘back to basics’ was bandied about. But the truth is that ‘basics’ for TopGear these days is as much about Clarkson, Hammond and May mucking about as it is about testing cars.

If we went back to a pure petrolhead show we’d receive as many complaints as we do every time something falls over or catches fire. So don’t expect earnest chats about double wishbone suspension and a man in a woolly pulley taking 20 minutes of your time to explain how a camshaft works. But with more of a run-up than we had for series 14, I’d like to think we’ve put more thought into this one, daftness and all.

Come back later in the week for more details. And a picture of Wilman eating crisps.

Love this part:

Since they know so many people love watching the show that much, why don't they do something about it? Release it in the UK on the 27th and then everywhere else on the 4th or something like that. Oh and give us the entire 60 minute show, don't cut out 20 minutes for commercials.

^^They still need to make money, thus the commercials.

But honestly though, less than one week to go for the best show on TV period. I can't really complain.

Raman, I think they air the whole 60 minutes without commercials in the UK. So, how do they make money then?

We pay a lot for cable TV, yet they still bombard us with commercials.

Anyway, I DVR all my shows, so I skip all the commercials :D.
