I think it is a great looking car.
What intrigues me though is that while Maserati competes now at MB/Audi/BMW levels, it used to make supercars that could rival legends such as the Countach. I wonder what made this shift in image - or direction - in Maserati: perhaps, to give Ferrari some space to breathe...
If Maserati wasn't at Ferrari's wing (or rather, wasn't under anyone's care) I wonder how different they would be today. Nevertheless, Maserati's financial problems would have crippled its progress.

What I found interesting about this car is that there was a lot of Citroën technology under the sheetmetal.
