^We'll see the results next week, this may turn up to become a big upset.

Please don't start speaking ill of the SLR 722, thats all I ask.

Although, Top Gear were the ones who helped the Veyron get its highly coveted fame, it is starting to seem that Top Gear is really Degrading the Veyrons name nowadays.

Bugatti Veyorn

Mercedes SLR

Lambo Murc
.......

Oh yea...the outdated McLauren F1 (which is useless next to the Bugatti IMO).

I bit disagree with you on this, but i think the Bugatti Veyron is Technological Masterpiece that might not be ever produced again. Its the statitsics that speak for it self.

If Top Gear helped on its fame i wonder why British cars still no where close to being the best cars in the world.. That my point of view.

Back on topic giving a Mclaren F1 to a race driver and a Bugatti Veyron to a non racing driver sure the outcome as it appears to be for the Maclaren from the article posted. Let wait and see the video. RH even didn't launch the car well..

This is how I'd put them; :t-cheers:
1: Mclaren F1:

Still the world's fastest N/A car & it's been over 17 years, she was built! Zonda what? Enzo who?

2: Lamborghini Murcielago-Sv:

Awesome truss of engineering & design with unique essence from it's origin! And, it's a Lambo! :usa7uh:

3: Bugatti Veyron:

I love everything about this car excluding the shape! It can be the best car ever but still looks like a bug! :D

4: Mercedes-Benz Sl-R:

It's a gorgeous car with distinct profile! However, with money for this car, I'd rather go for a Carrera-Gt!

We all know the the Bugatti Veyron is the greatest Technological Masterpiece in automotive history, that's a given. It is the greatest car ever if you ask me. Nothing comes close. But when I meant fame I mean fame as in Internet Publicity. When the Veyron came out nobody knew what it was like and not many knew what a Bugatti was for that matter. When Top Gear was first to get to get their hands on one back in 2005, Jeremy Clarkson was first the person to offically introduce the Veyron to the common person. Then James May reached its Top Gear with ease which amazed everyone. At that point you couldn't mention the Veyron with anyother automobile in the same sentance. After the Zonda beat the Veyron around their Test Track the Veyron was not longer as "godly" as it used to be. This should clear up my previous post before.

Anyways lets get back on topic as you said.

I doubt the F1 will win a drag race against the Veyron, but I bet it made mince meat out of the other two. Funny thing, it is the least powerful car of the 4 and the oldest. But is yet faster (except for Veyron of course), can seat more and has more luggage space. And actually has earned it's racing stripes. Engineering ftw.
