I don't know if it would beat the Zonda F around that track or not. The immense power would have to make up for what must be inferior handling in comparison.

Overall, the episode was kind of disappointing since I had such high hopes based on the preview they showed on the last episode. It was still enjoyable to watch, though.

That track is pretty tight..with little straights..i dont thin it could make up for the time lost in corners.. not on that track..
maybe on the ring.. but then again i doubt that to..

The car wouldn't exist otherwise, so it's not shame at all.
BMW and Mercedes loose a lot of $$$ on F1, VW on this. It doesn't matter. Right now, VW is getting all the attention they could ever dream of, and everybody driving this car says it is beyond real.....so all is good!

If you saw the video, it says that this car costs VW 5 million pounds to make... and they sell it for 1.2 million. They said that this was more of an experiment to see whether or not it can be done.

I used to have a picture of the Bugatti without body panels and it looked like it was only made out of hoses and wires.

I think it's £5 million include R&D cost since developing the car is what has been moste expensive due to technical obsticles. But damn 5 million pounds, that's like the price of producing a concept car. £12 million pounds is definetly not cheap but it ain't expensive either, that OUT OF THIS WORLD!! That car really should be legal. We all known that stupid accidents occur once in a while now imagine a 22 years old woman with a VW lupo accidentally crashes the rear of the Veyron and damages the exhaust system, intercoolers and rear suspension. Imagine what an economical catastrophe that would be for her. Not to mention as catastrophe for the owner who would have to send the car to where ever it's manufacturered since it probably can't be repaired at your local VW dealers .

I watched the Top Gear episode a few hours ago and I have to say that I'm very dissapointed. The test simply consisted of lots of gibberish and JC talking about how much the car has rocked his world. In order words, the test was far from informative and JC was like a 12 years old kid who has just received Xbox 360. On top of that I don't agree with his last comments about the Veyron being the best car ever made. The reason for why he said it must have been because he had been to overwhelmed by the car and hadn't got time to cool down, made he should be 10 intercoolers himself.
